We assert that the gospel of Jesus Christ is the individual’s only hope, the only way to find salvation and eternal life, but that it is also the nation’s only hope, because only righteousness before God can ever exalt our nation and cause it to truly prosper. The Bible is our authority, because it is the very word of God, and its truths impinge upon all areas of both the individual’s life, and the nation’s life.
